Chef Boyardee is recalling nearly 3,000 pounds of products mis-labeled chicken and rice — some shipped to stores in New York state — because they fail to alert buyers that they also include milk and wheat, which many people are allergic to.
The microwavable bowls were also shipped to stores in Florida and Kentucky.
Milk and wheat are used by the company, Conagra, to make canned ravioli products, according to the US Food Safety and Inspection Service.
The bowls have a package code of 210090151050045L and a ‘Best By’ date of July 8, 2020.
The agency said there have been no confirmed reports of “adverse reactions” so far.
