Last week, we rang the pumpkin spice latte death knell, but this week we’re eating — er, drinking — our words.

This week, Starbucks is reinventing the fall-flavored creation it bestowed on the world 16 years ago with the new Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew — the very first companion drink to the legendary PSL.

The drink combines its vanilla-flavored cold brew coffee with a thick layer of frothy pumpkin-flavored cold foam — a signature Starbucks invention of cold-whipped milk, as opposed to hot steamed foam — and topped with a sprinkling of pumpkin spice.

Early reviews hint that it’s about to be a fall favorite.

“It’s not too sweet, it’s not orange, and it’s not ‘basic’ — it’s a pumpkin spice drink you can take seriously,” writes Thrillist.

The PCCB  — not quite as catchy as PSL — will make its debut on Tuesday, alongside a selection of returning seasonal favorites, including the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin, Pumpkin Scone, Pumpkin Spice Madeleines, and, of course, the OG — the PSL. They join the ranks of the season’s best pumpkin spice flavors, from dog treats to classic snacks.
