The pie’s the limit for mac ‘n’ cheese lovers.

Fall is the time of year when people love to indulge in comfort foods, especially around Thanksgiving, and Kraft has combined two favorites to create a unique, new meal.

The brand-new apple pie-flavored Kraft Mac & Cheese combines “two of the most iconic Thanksgiving dishes” to create a “sweet and savory” concoction.

Kraft’s apple pie flavor satisfies the flavor trend that “feels both familiar and adventurous,” said Cheryl Barbee, communications director of Kraft Mac & Cheese at the Kraft Heinz Company, in a statement, combining the creamy cheese with the cinnamon and tart green apple notes.

It might seem odd to eat a sweet-flavored mac ‘n’ cheese, but this combination isn’t exactly new. In many regions of America, as well as Canada and the UK, people traditionally top their slice of apple pie with a slice of cheese.

The Kraft Mac & Cheese Apple Pie is available nationwide for a limited time while supplies last, exclusively online at Walmart.com for $1.48.

To celebrate the launch, Kraft Mac & Cheese teamed up with the “ultimate pie guy” Jason Biggs to bring the product to life with self-aware humor and a slice of nostalgia.

However, fans don’t seem too thrilled about the holiday release, with many declaring the invention should go “straight to jail.”

“I love how they put ‘while supplies last’ like these aren’t going to end up on sale out of desperation to get rid of them,” one person quipped.

“I’m pregnant and into eating weird stuff rn, so I’ll take one for the team and try it out,” another joked.

“Now I heard people put cheese on top of their pie and swear it tastes amazing. I haven’t tried that. This tho [sic] sounds diabolical. There’s no way this gonna taste good,” someone noted.

“I thought this was an Early April Fools Joke,” someone admitted.

“I love mac and cheese, and I vibe with apple pie, but not together,” a user wrote.

“Is this rage bait?” one asked.
