It is the return of the McRib.
McDonald’s announced the return of the McRib Monday, teasing that the sandwich’s limited run could possibly be its “farewell tour,” reports Chicago’s WGN9.
The sandwich — which debuted in Kansas City in 1981 — has returned several times to the fast-food joint’s menu starting in 2012.
According to Mike Bullington, the senior archives manager for McDonald’s, the McRib is to be “enjoyed during the colder seasons.”
In 2019, due to popular demand, McDonald’s sold the sandwich at 10,000 of its 14,000 US locations.
“Order yours in the McDonald’s app for delivery or pick up before you say goodbye on 11/20/22. Enjoy our famous pork sandwich as if it’s your last,” reads the description on the McDonald’s website.
