Some eager taste testers wondered if the mustard-flavored Skittles could be used on hot dogs.
“The collab we all needed in our lives,” another cheered.

This isn’t the first bizarre brainchild from French’s — their wacky food creations have become an annual occurrence, in celebration of the manufacturer’s favorite holiday.
In 2022, the McCormick & Company brand debuted mustard-glazed donuts in partnership with New York City’s Dough Doughnuts.
Two years prior, the brand whipped up a batch of mustard ice cream with frozen treat brand Coolhaus.
“From Mustard Ice Cream to last year’s viral Mustard Donuts, this year marks the fifth time French’s has gone all out with unique, flavorful innovations to celebrate National Mustard Day,” Valda Coryat, North America vice president of marketing for McCormick & Company, said in a statement.
