The original Gerber baby is now 94.

Ann Turner Cook marked the birthday Friday, and Gerber posted on its Facebook page asking fans to send her a greeting.

One woman noted, “You still have that sweet face.”

An illustration of Cook’s cherubic face, done when she was 4 months old by a family friend, became Gerber’s official trademark in 1931, according to the company website.

Cook, who grew up to be an English teacher in Florida and then a novelist, did not come forward as the baby food icon until 1978, Gerber’s 50th anniversary.
