Move over rosé slushies — there’s a new frozen drink in town.

Fast-food spot Sonic will debut a new, unusual flavor of “slush” this summer: pickle.

According to Food & Wine, the radioactive-looking drink will have the signature unidentifiable sweetness of a standard slushie, but with a dash of briny pickle flavor.

The magazine, which sampled the new frozen drink, reports that it is “surprisingly delicious,” and that the restaurant will roll out its new pickle juice slush in June.

Food & Wine notes that Sonic’s sour slush is just the latest of a rash of brine-enhanced tipplers, from a pickle-juice sports drink to the pickleback, a blue-collar tradition of chasing your whiskey with a shot of pickle juice that is gaining popularity in hipster Brooklyn.
