Developer Helen Lee is expanding her “curated collection” of authentic Asian eateries at her new One Fulton Square complex — a massive space in Flushing with offices, retail, a hotel and residential luxury condos that is drawing buyers from China and foodies from Manhattan.

Lee and Todd Leong, of Lucky Rice, are opening The Leaf Bar & Lounge mid-month. It joins five other eateries at One Fulton but is the area’s first craft cocktail bar and lounge.

Leaf boasts panoramic views of the city skyline, seasonal cocktails and small plates from Chef Henry Lin, inspired by Taiwanese night-market eats and Chinese-American classics.

“You no longer need to spend a lot of money and get on a plane to go to Taipei, Shanghai or Tokyo. You can have these dining experiences here in Flushing,” said Lee, a second-generation Chinese-American.

“This collection of Asian restaurants isn’t available anywhere else. We had to make sure they all worked together. We are taste-making here,” she added.

The restaurants, at 39-16 Prince Street between Roosevelt and 39th avenues, range from high-end Japanese fare to Korean fried chicken. Also coming to One Fulton Square in December: Kingza, a 2,200 square-foot Japanese eatery, and a 1,200 square-foot food court.

Rockaway Beach continues its makeover from casual surfing spot to trendy nabe with the arrival of its first gastropub last weekend.

Community House Rockaway Beach, along with Chef Fernando Feites, formerly of The Smith in Midtown, replaced the Irish Circle pub. The more than 12,000 square-foot space, which dates from 1893, seats 172 people inside and out with an additional 25 seats at the bar.

Kelley Brooke, who also owns Randall’s Island Golf & Sports, plans on opening a bakery and adding hotel rooms to the second floor in phase two of the project.

A locally sourced seafood eatery has just opened on the East End. North Sea Tavern & Raw’r Bar, at 1271 North Sea Rd., a 1,600 square-foot restaurant, is the latest venture from executive chef Sandy Dee Hall and co-owners Jon Pirozzi and Cletus McKeown.
