Wendy’s is celebrating the holiday season by giving back — to customers and kids in need.

The fan-favorite Frosty Key Tags are returning to restaurants and the Wendy’s app, allowing Frosty lovers to get an extra sweet deal in 2025.

The $3 keychain offers customers one free Jr. Frosty at every visit all year long.

Just in time for the holidays, guests can snag their Frosty Key Tag starting Monday, Dec. 9 through Sunday, Feb. 16 — but the sooner they get their keychain, the sooner they can start redeeming their free treats.

Free Jr. Frostys can be redeemed with either a physical or digital keychain from Dec. 9, 2024, through Dec. 31, 2025.

In previous years, the Frosty Key Tag allowed customers to get one free Frosty a day, so this year’s deal of a free Frosty every visit is an upgrade for Frosty fans.

While it can be used more than once a day, it can only be used once per visit and requires a purchase.

Those using a physical keychain can go back as soon as they like for a second visit, though the digital keychain will be “temporarily removed” and will show up again “in about an hour or so,” according to the Wendy’s website, so you have to wait a little before having another sweet treat.

No matter how you buy the Frosty Key Tag, 90% of the proceeds will directly benefit the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, and Wendy’s doesn’t profit from the sales of the keychains.

People can also order key tags in bulk from the Foundation.
