He got schooled!
A hilarious video of a high school student challenging his gym teacher to a freestyle rap battle is circling the Internet.
“I rap a little different, just be ready for it,” the teacher informs his student opponent, while classmates eagerly crowd around the two and whip out their phones.
The student starts with a simple, one-line rhyme: “When you see me rappin’ you best better yield, I suggest going back to girls’ track & field.”
But much to their surprise, their teacher, identified in the video as Mr. Matthews, returns with a minute-long rap that leaves his student in the dust.
“Well I’m rough and tough and about to bust, leaving suckers like you all in the dust.
I make a no beat new, but what that do? They call me Coach Matthews, baby, and I brought the crew.”
Coach Matthews continues to rap and his students clap along before exploding into cheers at the end like a scene out of “8 Mile.”
The entertaining video stands as a wonderful reminder not to underestimate your elders.
