Grab your wands, Potter fans: It’s time for brunch … and dinner.
Two days of immersive, magical meals are heading to New York Aug. 17 and 18, when they’ll transform Manhattan’s Pier 60 into a replica of Hogwarts’ Great Hall.
Expect potions, fortune-tellers and lots and lots of costumed wannabe wizards, who’ll be sorting themselves into two three-hour slots a day, priced from $85 to $165; wine, beer and probably mead are available, for an extra fee.
Each slot offers wannabe wizards a three-course meal by chef Abigail Kirsch, served on extremely long tables, amid live entertainment and potion lessons.
There’s no dress code, but does one really need one? Take a gander at the Wizard’s Instagram to see what other Potter fans have gotten up at during magical meals past.
No word on whether you can bring your own owl.
