He’s dreaming of a pearly white Christmas.

A California man’s Christmas plans went hilariously awry after he accidentally printed his neighbor’s dental X-rays on 90 X-mas cards. Photos of the acci-dental Yuletide photos are currently boasting over 121,000 likes and myriad facepalms on Twitter.

“Selected the wrong photo from my camera roll so now I have 90 of these,” the photographic gaffer, named Dan White, 33, posted on Twitter, along with graphic X-ray photos of teeth. If that wasn’t ludicrous enough, the Los Angeles-based writer had emblazoned the note with “Merry Christmas: The Whites,” inadvertently creating a hilarious double entendre.

According to Jam Press, the Xmas-ray incident had occurred while White was designing cards with Shutterfly, a photo printing app that allows users to choose photos from their camera and insert their own text, font and even clipart, Jam Press reported. However, things went awry after he accidentally selected a tooth X-ray belonging to his neighbor Mike while editing the pics.

White explained in a follow-up Tweet that kept them on his phone because Mike “has such great teeth” and he wanted to show his “dentist an x-ray and say ‘give me this.'”

Unfortunately, the wordsmith didn’t realize anything was awry until a pack of 90 “tooth-bearing” cards arrived on his doorstep.

Needless to say, Twitter had a field day with the man’s “white Christmas” mixup.

“Merry Christmas from the pearly whites,” quipped one Twitter wit. “With a smile like that, you gotta show it off.”

“On the 90th day of Christmas, my true love said to meee; A full set of teeth under my treee!” joked another.

However, others thought Mike’s snack-gnashers weren’t so immaculate with one critic writing “this Wisdom Tooth truly chose violence.” They also included a closeup of the allegedly janky chomper.

Even Shutterfly weighed in on the fiasco, writing: “Oh no! We’re so sorry to hear about your cards! Let’s see what we can do to help today!

“Please send us a DM with your order number, email address, and the same details here so we can help!” they added. “We look forward to hearing from you!”

Fortunately, White has learned to see the humor in the situation, despite claiming that his wife Kelly was “going to kill him” over the blunder, Jam Press reported.

However, he says he won’t be sending the Xmas-rays to friends and family anytime soon.
