Someone’s made the naughty list — and in a surprise twist, it’s the person who makes the naughty list!

A Santa in the UK Claus-ed quite a scene when he was slapped with a ticket for driving his sleigh in a pedestrian zone to hand out Christmas gifts and collect money for charity.

Mick Worrall, 75, donned his Santa suit Saturday to spread some Christmas cheer in Worcester, England. After parking his sleigh — pulled by his three-wheeler bike — he had a rude-olph exchange with the traffic warden.

The festive fellow refused to take the $75 fine, telling the Grinchy cop to “post it to the North Pole.”

“I won’t let the children down. I get pleasure from putting smiles on the faces of the children,” Worrall told SWNS.

“I’m a bit disappointed — but it’s not going to stop me. I’ve been doing it for years,” the great-grandfather revealed.

“I refused to take the ticket. I told the warden, ‘Send it to me in the post to my address,'” he joked. “He said, ‘Where’s that?’ I said, ‘The North Pole.'”

Worrall’s friend, Stuart Hackett, witnessed the un-fir-gettable exchange.

“There’s got to be rules — but it’s Christmas time,” argued Hackett, who was dressed as a Christmas tree at the time.

“They have got to expect someone to come along as Father Christmas to get people into the festive spirit. I would like them to scrap the ticket,” he added.

Worrall says if he has to, he’ll contest the ticket in court wearing his Santa suit.

“I’m not paying a penny in fines when I’m collecting money for charity,” he vowed.

The poor sap was issued the ticket for driving in a “traffic-free” zone, but he contends that isn’t the case.

“I merely crawled along at under 2 miles per hour to my parking spot before handing out festive gifts,” he recounted, saying he’s done so for many years now.

“Last year a policeman even posed with me for pictures,” he added. “Maybe the traffic warden was having a bad day or just being Scrooge but it was petty to say the least.”

The ho-ho-horrifying back and forth between the cop and Worrall was caught on camera by schoolboy Jake Fox, whose uncle had brought him to the town center for the occasion.

“I told the traffic warden, ‘You can’t do that! Santa is doing a good thing,'” the 12-year-old recalled, adding that because many people had gathered around the vehicle he initially thought it was a setup.

“But the traffic warden went around the rear of the vehicle to take pictures of the number plates,” he noted. “Santa shouted, ‘You’re going on the naughty list!’ Lots of people were saying, ‘You can’t do that to Santa!’ He was angry.”

A Worcester City Council spokesperson confirmed the fine was issued for “driving in a pedestrian zone,” but declined further comment to SWNS.

Worrall has reportedly raised thousands of dollars for charity dressing up as Santa. This year he is making it rein for New Hope Worcester Children’s Charity, which works with families who have children with disabilities and complex healthcare needs.
