This potentially deadly attack may have saved her life.

A California woman shared her shocking story after an attack by a runaway rodeo bull inadvertently resulted in discovering she had cancer.

“It’s something no one would ever think would happen,” Paige King, 25, told Fox News of the paradoxical saga, which began in May after she attended the Redding Rodeo in her hometown of Redding.

However, her couples outing turned catastrophic after a runaway steer named Border Crisis leaped out of the arena and into the stands, injuring King and several other spectators, ABC 7 reported.

“I was sitting there with my boyfriend, and we were watching the run, and then all of a sudden, I looked to my left to glance at something, and I looked back over, and the bull was right there coming at me,” the house cleaner told the news outlet. “I didn’t know exactly what was happening; it took me a second. And then my boyfriend picked me up, and I was like, ‘Oh, there’s a bull there.’ “

“I end up going to the ground, and all I can really remember after that is him just picking me up,” added the gal to Fox.

During the melee, Border Crisis’ hoof had reportedly scraped King’s back, leaving her with scratches, bruises and fractures, which have reportedly since healed.

However, that was only the beginning of her harrowing medical saga: While examining King at the hospital following the bull attack, medics reportedly discovered a troubling symptom.

“We brought her to the emergency room and did a CT scan of her, and the doctor noticed a lump on her neck, secondary to any internal injuries from the incident . . . what could be cancer at that point,” King’s father Erick Mattson told ABC 7.

His daughter was subsequently diagnosed with thyroid cancer.

“I was just kind of taken back in shock,” King told Fox. “I couldn’t really tell what was happening, so I just kind of shut down a little bit.”

The petrified patient was then referred to a doctor in Houston, Texas, who revealed that her cancer was Stage 1. Unfortunately, physicians won’t know if it has metastasized to her lymph nodes until she undergoes an operation to remove the tumor.

“I’m just trying to be as positive as possible and take it day by day at this point,” said the Californian, who thankfully doesn’t believe she’ll need chemotherapy as of yet. Her family recently set up a GoFundMe to help cover medical expenses as well as the exorbitant cost of traveling back and forth between Texas and California for treatment.

Despite the harrowing ordeal, King ultimately credits her horned attacker for saving her life.

“If I hadn’t gone, I would’ve never found that [the tumor],” King exclaimed. “I’m very happy that it happened, but at the same time, it’s crazy!”

The saga got even crazier after King reportedly happened across Border Crisis at the ranch of one of her clients.

“I was driving, and I looked to my left, and all of a sudden, I saw this bull, and he looked identical to the bull from that night, and I looked at my co-worker and said, ‘There’s no way,’ ” King exclaimed, then snapped a selfie of herself with her assailant cum savior.

“I was scared at first, but it was fun,” she said. “It was a full-circle moment, and I’ll cherish it forever.”
