It’s one of the rare times a wedding crasher is actually welcome.

Photographer Laurenda Marie was shooting Michigan newlyweds Morgan and Luke at a countryside estate in Grand Rapids, Michigan, when an uninvited guest waltzed-in to the frame.

Marie told BuzzFeed they were scouting a good location on the mansion grounds for their post-ceremony photos and settled on a spot next to a wooden fence, where a deer was grazing about 20 feet away. When they caught the deer’s eye, the creature began moving toward the couple.

Turns out, Bambi was hungry — for fresh-cut flowers.

The deer couldn’t stop going after Morgan’s bouquet by local designer Melissa Anne Floral Co. Try as they did, the pair decided to let the deer have itself a snack.

They were just happy to have such memorable wedding photos.
