Ah, kids these days.
A woman may not be up for “Neighbor of the Year” after pulling a ruthless prank on the noisy children next door — with a trick that’s divided opinion online.
“So, it was Sunday. I came back from a party at Saturday, being extremely tired. And those kids go in the garden and scream around at f – – king 8 a.m.,” the anonymous person griped on Reddit.
Enraged after being woken from a deep slumber, she found a coin and “glued it directly in front of the slide in the garden, so [the kids] had to see it.
“The next two hours they tried to get the money, unsuccessful. Their desperate screaming and crying was music to my ears. Did they get the money? No.”
Then when the kids ran to enlist their parents’ help after apparently hours of frustration, the merry prankster pried the coin off the glue with a knife and took it back inside.

Many were left in stitches by the gag, with one commenter terming it simply, “Hilarious.” Though not everyone online found the prank to be in the best taste.
“8 a.m. isn’t that early for kids to be playing or for people to work in their gardens. You might have been tired from partying out the night before, but that’s on you. Earplugs are inexpensive,” one commented.
“Their petty revenge will be letting the kids out at 7 a.m.,” wrote another.
