This was one hot Big Mac Attack.

A YouTube user doused a Big Mac with molten copper, showing that fast food lore claiming the burger’s indestructibility appears true — to a point.

The burger fared surprisingly well when it was doused with the scalding metal — which reaches 1,984 degrees Fahrenheit.

The metal skims off the top of the “bun of steel,” which soon turns into a charred disc.

The burger eventually blackens — but appears no worse for wear for nearly half of the 3:39 video.

“That’s the first time a McDonald’s patty has been in contact with a flame,” wrote YouTube user dallinj1.

“Can I have my molten copper on the side?” Tom Cote asked.

The YouTube user behind the video, Tito4re, has pitted molten copper against a variety of items, including popcorn, apples and coconuts. Copper invariably wins.
