A woman experiencing abdominal pain has been left stunned after learning she has an egg-sized cyst with hair and teeth growing inside her uterus.
The woman — who uses the social media handle @sandwitchbread and goes by the name Page — took to TikTok on Sunday to share the shocking story, with the video racking up close to 2 million views.
Page explained that she had been suffering discomfort and bleeding since giving birth to her son two years ago, and finally booked an appointment with her gynecologist.
“So she [the doctor] tells me I have to have an ultrasound, and I’m like, ‘F – – k, I hope it’s not a baby, because I do not want a kid right now,’ ” Page told her TikTok followers in the video.
“But it’s not a baby. It’s actually something WAY worse than a baby!”
A young American mom named Page has revealed she’s had dermoid cysts growing inside her for the past two years. TikTokPage explained that doctors found a “7-centimeter, chicken egg-sized dermoid cyst” as well as a second smaller dermoid cyst, the size of a pea.
“For those of you who don’t know what a dermoid cyst is, it’s a cyst that grows hair and teeth and comes from particles of fetal tissue being separated during the development of a fetus,” Page explained.
“So, for about two years now, I’ve had particles of my son that I gave birth to growing in my uterus. Teeth and hair!”

Viewers were left grossed out by both the story and the snap, leaving a flurry of comments beneath the mom’s video.
“I will never be able to forget this. I should have looked away,” one queasy viewer wrote.
Page is now going to have both of the dermoid cysts cut out, and joked: “I can’t wait for surgery. I’m gonna keep them in a wet specimen jar.”
