Whale, hello there!
This is the moment that a couple kayaking in Alaska came face-to-face with a pod of humpback whales.
Jack Delaney, 22, and Kat Georgia, 27, were paddling in Cape Resurrection recently when up to a dozen of the gentle giants swam right up next to them.
“At first I was excited and nervous,” Delaney told Caters News Agency. “Then the bubbles started coming up more rapidly and I got scared and started freaking out.”
Despite losing their cool, the couple managed to stay upright in their kayak during the close encounter.
“Honestly, it was the most amazing thing to happen to me ever,” Delaney said. “It was a once-in-a-lifetime moment that will be with me forever.”
