Getty Images Lego is giving kids a chance to build a real modern family — complete with a stay-at-home dad.
The father figurine, who is pushing a baby carriage, is part of the new Lego City line set to release this summer, the company said.
The hip dad, dressed in jeans and a red plaid shirt, is also sporting a beard and mop-top.
He’s paired with a female figurine dressed in business casual attire that is holding a bottle.
Lego Systems President Soren Torp Laurensen told Fortune that the creation of the figurine wasn’t a response to demand. Instead, it was the toy company’s way of staying “in tune with the world around us.”
The set also includes Lego’s first wheelchair-enabled figure.
