A photographer and amateur astronomer captured stunning images of a Mexican volcano erupting.
César Cantú used a six-second exposure to catch the lighting bolt above the 12,500-foot-high stratovolcano.
Volcán de Colima, or Volcan de Fuego, is Mexico’s most active volcano and last erupted in July. The above photos are from its eruption in March.
