An adorable family of squirrels amazingly managed to squeeze all their heads through a small hole in a tree to make this stunning scene.

The cuddly rodents were caught on camera at a park in Tokyo, Japan, where hundreds of walkers gather every spring to watch the cherry blossoms.

Hiroshi Takeda from Japan who took the photo, said: “Squirrels are my favorite animals, whenever I see them they are always playing across the trees.

“I have photographed them many times but this was definitely the best one.”

Hiroshi was getting a little worried that the squirrels may have got themselves into an overly tight spot at Inokashira Park: “The whole family were squeezing way too far, I was worried they could have got stuck.”
