Holy, Moses: It’s like a scene straight out of Cecil B. DeMille’s “The Ten Commandments” — only it was all too real.

A Brazilian man was filmed fleeing in terror after a “red sea” of biblical proportions flooded his home, demolishing everything in its mud-soaked path. Now-viral footage of the catastrophe is currently blowing up online.

The disaster occurred last Thursday after torrential downpours forced a 5 1/2-foot column of sludge to amass against against the wall of a house in Morumbi, in the central Brazilian city of Anápolis, Jam Press reported.

Homeowner Rômulo do Carmo, 37, said he had noticed cracks in the barrier the day prior, which were apparently caused by rising water in the vacant plot next door.

The next day, however, the floodgates literally opened.

The ensuing footage starts off innocently enough with the salesman pacing on his front porch while chatting on his phone. Then, without warning, a veritable tsunami of mud crashes through his house, sweeping away everything in its path, including a large concrete slab that Rômulo later said almost broke his wife’s legs.

Fortunately, the quick-thinking fellow was able to avoid the debris-filled deluge by hanging onto a beam, Jam Press reported.
