Milo and Otis have some serious competition.

A dog in the UK has formed an unlikely bond with a tiny baby wallaby after the critter was rejected by its mother.

For the last nine weeks, the Allen family in Cornwall has taken care of the 9-month-old orphan, dubbed Willoughby. The pouched creature has been living the high life at home as he’s hand fed a diet of milk, carrots and apples, according to Apex News.

While all four family members have pitched in to help, most of the care has come courtesy of Poppy — a Labrador cross that’s been attached at the hip of the motherless marsupial, according to Mandy Allen.

“Being with Poppy is contact for Willoughby,” Mandy said. “Following around another animal is a bit more natural for her than being with us really. It gives her warmth and comfort. Like being in her mother’s pouch.”
