This wasn’t a hoot.
A family in Cincinnati was forced to evacuate earlier this month after their carbon monoxide alarm alerted them to the presence of the potentially deadly gas — caused by an owl stuck in their chimney.
A rescue team from Hamilton County Dog Wardens, which is operated by the animal shelter Cincinnati Animal CARE, captured the trapped owl.
Cincinnati Animal CARE tweeted about the unusual incident on March 16, saying, “there’s never a dull moment” for its employees.
The owl was evaluated and released, and the video of its release was shared with Fox News.
