A Texas mom is accused of bringing a firearm hidden under her clothing to a middle school, according to officials.

Lorraine Haas, 43, was arrested Tuesday after a gun was discovered on her person at Hallsville Junior High School, news station KTBS reported.

Authorities said Haas showed another parent that she brought the weapon to the school campus.

She is licensed to carry a concealed weapon, but bringing a gun on school property is prohibited.

The mom was reportedly a frequent volunteer in the district. Following her arrest, she was permanently “removed from any roles on campus,” according to school officials.

She faces charges for unlawfully carrying of a weapon by a licensed weapon holder in a prohibited place.

Haas was booked at Harrison County Jail and released Wednesday on $10,000 bond.
