This blended family is giving “The Brady Bunch” a run for their money.

A Florida woman has revealed she is expecting a baby with her new girlfriend — fathered by her ex-husband, who still lives with her and their two children.

Linda Fruits, 33, ended her eight-year union to Christopher Haerting, 36, in August 2021 after having a “sexual awakening” while scrolling through social media, realizing that she was a lesbian.

Despite divorcing, Fruits and Haerting chose to remain living together for the sake of their two kids, Elliot, 4, and Owen, 2.

“We told our sons that we will always be a family and that we will always love them, and that mama and papa were going to be raising them as best friends from now on,” said Fruits, who documents her unorthodox “Fruity Bunch” for more than 100,000 followers and 2.6 million likes on TikTok.

Last November, the out-and-proud mama began dating Maddy Gross, 36, and they quickly became inseparable. Gross soon moved in with the Fruits-Haerting clan and made plans to become a mom herself.

“On our second date, Maddy told me how she’s always wanted to be a mom and how she was actively trying to find a donor,” Fruits recalled. “We talked about how crazy it would be if Christopher was the donor and our kids could be related. We asked him five months later.”

Haerting said his marriage to Fruits had become “sexless” and platonic by the time she came out as gay, and that they were living as best friends.

“It was still difficult from time to time, but we talked through our emotions all of the time, and this helped a lot,” he said. “We both knew that our kids are the most important and being able to see them every day was more important than dividing our family and honestly, making things more complicated” for all parties.

“Most couples whose romantic relationship ends, need to get away from each other to move on or because it’s toxic,” the dad further explained. “We found a way to move on while still co-parenting and living together, and it’s been great.”

When Gross came on the scene earlier this year, her strong connection with Fruits was immediately apparent to the whole family.

Fruits stated: “After our first date, we were inseparable. We spent as much time as possible together. Maddy officially moved in six months later. Christopher was the first to offer to help pack up all her stuff and help get her place ready to rent out.”

Haerting says he wasn’t jealous seeing his ex-wife move on so quickly and was more than happy to welcome Gross into his home if it meant keeping his kids together.

“It made complete sense for Maddy to move at that point,” he explained. “I was never concerned or felt anything negative towards Linda or Maddy at that time. I was honestly excited.”

The devoted dad added: “Our kids love Maddy and being in the same house together has been rewarding and fun. We clean together, cook, and eat dinner together, and occasionally go out together with and without the kids.”

Earlier this year, Fruits and Gross approached Haerting about their desire for a baby — and for him to be the father.

“It was definitely not an instant yes,” he admitted. “I had a lot of questions for each of them that I needed to be answered before I felt comfortable with it.”

“My biggest non-negotiable was that I wasn’t comfortable being just a donor,” Hearting further explained. “I wanted to be the father/co-parent and legally on the birth certificate. Other than that, I wasn’t and am not worried about everything else. We will figure it out. I know that we will all do what’s best for our kids.”

In November, the new — and very modern — Fruits-Gross-Haerting family announced they were expecting a baby in May 2023.

The trio says sons Elliot and Owen are “excited” about the impending arrival of a sibling.

“We didn’t get to where we are in a day, it took a lot of communication, honesty, and just good old-fashion time,” said Fruits (second from left). Meanwhile, Haerting himself has moved on and currently has a girlfriend.

Fruits stated that her ex-husband “has been upfront when he meets women on apps, so he doesn’t waste anyone’s time.”

“It’s really worked out as a great filter system to find someone who is understanding and open-minded,” she enthused.

Despite making it look easy breezy, the modern family members say it takes hard work and constant communication to ensure everyone is happy. Despite making it seem easy breezy, the mom admits that it has taken hard work for the family to get to this point.

“We didn’t get to where we are in a day. It took a lot of communication, honesty, and just good old-fashion time. Everyone needs a little time for the dust and temporary emotions to settle,” she declared. “Maybe, by sharing our story, we can change the outcome to be more positive for others. It doesn’t have to be the same old run-of-the-mill toxic separation because this doesn’t benefit anyone, especially the kids.”
