A mom has gone viral on TikTok after revealing that every member of her family shares the same middle name.

Mommy blogger Alexandria, who posts under the username @alexxroyaa, clapped back at haters who called her “stupid” for giving her children identical monikers. The TikTok, which was posted in February, has since gained nearly 10 million views.

The mother of three revealed that everyone in her immediate family — including her boyfriend Deven and three children — shares the same middle name: Lauren.

“Deven thought I was messing with him when we first started dating and I told him we had the same middle name. He said, ‘Are you making fun of me?’ because the name is considered a girls name,” the 26-year-old wrote of the moment she discovered the similarity. “I said absolutely not and that I wasn’t lying!”

At first, Alexandria couldn’t believe him, so Deven had his girlfriend call a family member to confirm the name.

Once she knew it wasn’t a lie, the pair decided to keep the Lauren legacy going.

“We said it was meant to be and if we ever had kids we would pass down the middle name to them too & that’s exactly what we did, 7 years later, 3 kids in,” she said.

The TikTok mom has also clapped back at haters who criticized her for giving her son the “girl’s name.”

“It’s also mine & his dad’s middle name, we just passed it on,” the mom responded to an online troll.

TikTok users seemed divided over the family’s shared name.

“I would have been floored too tbh that’s crazy,” gushed one user.

Another chimed in to say they share a name with family members, too. “My MIL and her husband have the same middle name, Francis,” they wrote.

Alexandria is not the only mommy content creator who has gotten flak for their children’s names.
