The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission is recalling infant snowsuits made by The Children’s Place because of a choking hazard.
The agency warned that the metal snaps on the snowsuits could detach, which could become a choking hazard for kids.
So far, about 14,900 units have been sold in the US, while 750 were purchased in Canada. So far no injuries due to the snowsuits have been reported, but there’s been one incident in which a metal strap detached from a snowsuit.
The baby onesies come in three styles, and parents have been advised to return them to The Children’s Place’s store for a full refund.
The Children’s Place didn’t immediately return a request for comment.
