A little scruff can do a man good, especially if he’s Speaker of the House Paul Ryan.

The 45-year-old Republican has toughened up his boyish looks lately with a stubbly beard — and he’s damn proud of it.

The House of Representatives’ archives department tweeted — yes, they have a Twitter account — in response that he is indeed the first Speaker of the House to sport a beard since 1925.

In our opinion, he now looks less like the frat boy you’d pick a fight with in government class and more like a top dog.

Others are frothing over it, too.

Others, not so much.

Love it or hate it, he’s gained a new doppelgänger: Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
