This little no-show stole the show — again!

While all eyes were fixed on the royal family during Queen Elizabeth’s extravagant funeral Monday, one knee-high noble of the bloodline, 4-year-old Prince Louis of Wales, was noticeably not in attendance at the farewell fete. 

And the tiny tycoon’s absence sent social media jokesters into a hilarious meme-making tizzy. 

“Where’s Louis? #QueensFuneral #PrinceLouis,” teased a Twitter user with a photo of the pouting little prince with the “Home Alone” film’s logo. 

“Prince Louis at home watching the #QueensFuneral after jabbing his mum … on national [television] during the Jubilee,” wrote another alongside a picture of a perplexed and disgruntled little boy in pajamas. (The tot in the trending Twitter photo is not the prince.) 

Louis, the youngest of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s three children and Queen Elizabeth II’s great-grandson, memorably made goofy faces at his mother and sassily stuck his tongue out at onlookers from the royal box at what would be the monarch’s final Jubilee celebration in June.  

While standing next to his great-grandmother, parents and siblings on the Buckingham Palace balcony during the platinum parade, the toddler screamed and covered his ears as planes flew over their royal residence. 

And kidders on Twitter seem to be convinced that little Louis was forced to miss Elizabeth’s interment this week, owing to his cheeky behavior during the four-day ceremonies over the summer. 

“People thinking Prince Louis isn’t there because he’s too young. The real reason: High chance of chaos #QueensFuneral,” joked a tweeter, who amped his wisecrack with a snapshot of Louis’ silly outbursts during the Jubilee.  

“William and Kate left Louie at home because they couldn’t control him last time,” quipped another.

“I mean this in the most respectful way possible, but I’m kinda sad they didn’t take Prince Louis with them. Imagine this in front of all the world leaders? Would have been incredible. #QueensFuneral,” said another with a snap of Louis teasing the crowds. 

Jubilee jokes aside, Middleton, 40, recently revealed to Australia’s Governor-General David Hurley that the spirited child was “asking questions” as he struggled to understand Queen Elizabeth’s passing. 

She died Sept. 8 at age 96.  

“The younger one is now asking questions like, ‘Do you think we can still play these games when we go to Balmoral [Castle in Scotland] and things like that, because she’s not going to be there?’ ” Hurley, 69, recalled of his conversation with the newly appointed Princess of Wales to the Daily Mail. 

Middleton, according to Hello Magazine, also explained that her son Prince George, 9, is having an easier time understanding the queen’s death than his younger siblings Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis. 

“The children are doing well and they are being looked after at school,” said Middleton when asked how her kids were coping with their loss. 

A well-wisher added: “[The royal family is] keeping things as normal as possible for the children.”
