It’s a royal mess!

Princess Anne is getting shamed online for the less-than-stately condition of her living room that’s crowded with stacks of books, scores of knickknacks and outdated floral furniture.

A photo of the Marie Kondo-triggering room was posted on the Royal Family’s official Instagram page, showing Queen Elizabeth II’s daughter enjoying a rugby match on TV between Scotland and England alongside her husband, Sir Timothy Laurence.

The seemingly innocuous snap prompted a range of reactions from the commonfolk.

“…and I was worried about my clutter,” one person wrote with a laughing emoji.

Others took issue with the state of the Princess Royal’s well-worn sofa and chair decked out in a faded coral floral print.

“She needs a new sofa,” one person commented.

But another fan appreciated the royals’ modesty.

“I love that their home looks like an actual home and not something that was set up,” the commenter said.
