If you know, you know.
An anonymous billboard ad searching for a psychic insists that a true clairvoyant will “know where to apply” — and provided no further details.
UK signage company Mandoe Media said a mystery man paid an undisclosed amount for the simple sign and provided minimal details.
“Psychic wanted — you know where to apply,” the sign, with a black background and a green triangle, reads.
The ad was posted along a busy road in Manchester, England, on Aug. 18 and has intrigued many drivers passing by on Fairfield Street.
Steve Baxter, who works for MandoeMedia.com, told Kennedy News that he and his colleagues initially thought that the request was a joke but soon realized that it was serious after connecting with the client.
“The individual explained they were deeply serious and wanted to find a genuine psychic,” Baxter explained.
The anonymous ad was posted along a busy route in Manchester, England, on Aug. 18, catching the eyes of many commuters. Kennedy News/Mandoemedia“They felt the best way to do that would be to put out a ‘psychic wanted’ advert with no contact information because a good psychic would know exactly when, where and how to contact them.”
The Mando Media team isn’t sure why the man is in such desperate need of a psychic or has taken this route to find one, but they’re rooting for him.
“It wasn’t made clear exactly why they were in need of a psychic. Maybe they had been swindled by a fake psychic in the past, or perhaps they want clarity on their future. We don’t know,” Baxter said.
“But we are seriously invested in this experiment, and it would be incredible if it actually works.”
This anonymous ad has drawn a lot of attention, but it isn’t the first time that someone has turned to a billboard in search of the person they’re looking for.
Earlier this year, a cancer-stricken mother took out a billboard ad in Times Square to find her daughter a love match.
