A flustered TV news reporter was interrupted during his broadcast from the Rio 2016 Olympics by a couple appearing to have sex on the beach in the background.

BBC journalist Dan Walker, who was giving a report on the Olympics Thursday night in Brazil, was so embarrassed that he initially tried to ignore the randy, sandy shenanigans.

He eventually denied that they were getting it on, insisting that they were “having a hug” or “reading a book … in a strange pose.”

But he refused to let the camera zoom in on the action.

Keen-eyed viewers weren’t convinced.

“Absolutely brilliant. Are you trying to convince the public or yourself they’re reading?!” Robert Middleton tweeted, the Sun reported.

Thanks to smart phones, more people are getting caught having sex in public.
