GOOD ‘TIMES’ GUY
Dinner just wasn’t enough for Karen, a 35-year-old writer, and Remi, a 25-year-old production assistant. The duo had such a good time at pizza spot Motorino in Williamsburg, Brooklyn they kept laughing late into the evening with a midnight showing of “Fast Times at Ridgemont High,” which gave a whole new meaning to the term “fast friends.” –

When Karen first walked into the restaurant, I thought she looked stunning. I was a little nervous, but once we started talking it quickly faded. Karen was easygoing and I got the impression that she was not putting on a front. I found that really sexy – a girl proud of who she is.
Over dinner, we talked about our families, movies and music. Karen is smart, ambitious, adventurous and overall great to carry on a conversation with. She has a great personality and a good sense of humor. Plus, she’s a little nerdy – like me.
Instead of saying goodnight after dinner, we opted to continue the date with a movie. Afterward, we exchanged numbers and both agreed we should do it again. I’d be lying if I didn’t confess that I had romantic interest in Karen. She’s fun, attractive, smart and intriguing. To not see her again would be a travesty.

When I arrived at the restaurant, Remi was already there. Right away, I noticed his nice smile and dimples. Over dinner, the conversation flowed easily. The food was great, but Remi and I were talking so much that we only ate half of our meal!
Remi has great taste in film and we bonded over our shared love of Sean Penn. I mentioned that I had just come back from a snowboarding trip where my instructor reminded me of Jeff Spicoli – Penn’s character in “Fast Times at Ridgemont High.” Then, Remi mentioned he knew of a movie theater in the East Village that was showing “Fast Times” at midnight. We decided to keep the date going, and then laughed and whispered throughout the film.
After the movie, I told Remi that I had a great time and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Although the movie was rated R, the date was definitely PG! I would absolutely go out with Remi again.
