That’s one way to dump someone.

A Mississippi man was arrested after he allegedly burned down his mobile home Saturday to get his girlfriend to leave.

Aaron Augustinowicz, 62, was charged with arson for pouring gasoline in his Caledonia residence before setting it on fire, according to The Dispatch.

When police arrived on the scene, Augustinowicz admitted that the fire was the only way to send his girlfriend packing.

But according to the woman, the couple had a physical fight over Augustinowicz supposedly having a new girlfriend.

Augustinowicz changed his story on Tuesday and told investigators that he burned his home down because he wanted a new one. He also said that his relationship had been in trouble for a “long time,” according to police.

Augustinowicz was booked at Lowndes County Adult Detention Center, where his bond was set at $25,000.
