Protect, serve and … screw your co-worker?

Six deputies with the York County Sheriff’s Department in South Carolina were busted for having sex with each other while on duty and two of them have been fired, WBTV reported.

Investigators discovered one female deputy had sex with five different male deputies at various times while on duty — and the trysts reportedly go as far back as 2003, the outlet reported.

Sgt. Jennifer Forsythe and Deputy Daniel Hamrick were both fired earlier this month after the two came clean about their on-the-job love affair, which occurred between 2012 and this year.

Four other deputies were disciplined for having sexual encounters with Forsythe, including a captain, a lieutenant and two other sergeants.

Investigators caught wind of the sex acts when they received an anonymous complaint regarding the improper conduct.

“The results of this investigation are very troubling and cast a dark cloud over the York County Sheriff’s Office and its reputation as a professional organization,” Sheriff Kevin Tolson said in a statement.

“The actions of these officers have undermined the public’s confidence in our organization and required swift and serious action.”
