People with higher levels of body-positivity tend to upload more images to ­Instagram, but that confidence can come at the cost of romantic conflict, according to new research.

Those who rely on the pouty pics for an ego boost were more likely to argue about the images with their significant other, analysis by Jessica Ridgeway and Russell Clayton at Florida State University found.

The academics didn’t ­directly measure behavior, but did find that excessive sharing of selfies led to conflict.
