Most first dates don’t include a trip to the grocery store, unless you’re cooking a meal for someone special and forget an ingredient.

But nothing was missing between Kozza, 31 and Shoshana, 27, when they met for dinner at West Village pizzeria Ribalta.

After the meal, Shoshana’s mosquito bites were driving her crazy. Kozza decided to go into rescue mode, and suggested they pick up something to soothe her itch at a nearby Whole Foods.

It proved to be a bold move that paid off.

He said

Shoshana was supercute. I loved her style, her hair was insane and she has a great body. But her aura was the most attractive.

Shoshana had great ripostes. She was right there with me with every joke I made. She had a great sense of humor with a quick wit — all big in my book.

At Ribalta, we created our own pizza, with shrimp, arugula, and mozzarella. It was good as was our dessert, a frutti di bosco.

After dinner, Shoshana started talking about her mosquito bites, I suggested we run to Whole Foods and grab some repellent. We booked it out of the restaurant and, after some fun running around Whole Foods, ended up in Union Square Park. We chatted until midnight.

Shoshana is superfun. I think it’s not presumptuous to say we’ll be seeing each other soon.

She said

As soon as I saw Kozza, I knew he was my date. He was supercute with good style and great glasses.

Kozza is a very well-read guy, which was cool. We talked about everything! He showed me the music video for his band Andy Suzuki and the Method. I told him about the work I do promoting “Queen Of The Night,” an experimental dinner theater show.

The shrimp pizza we came up with at Ribalta was a ballsy move that paid off.

After the date, Kozza helped me buy bug spray because I had mosquito bites. He also had a selfie stick, which was so funny. Him being such a gentleman made it easy for me to give him my number and take his. I am sure we will see each other again.
