He’s in the doghouse, now.
A couple sparked a debate on social media after the husband demanded his wife “tuck in” her stomach while taking a photo.
Of course, the clip with 2.3 million views elicited a viral backlash online.
“When you’re taking pictures and he reminds you to tuck in your belly,” read the text on the video, which showed the woman’s beau tapping her tummy as a signal for her to suck it in.
“I appreciate it, but at the same time do I get mad at him for doing that?” the TikToker, Saira, wrote in the caption, along with the laughing emojis.
The commenters were divided over the husband’s actions, debating whether it was offensive or helpful.
“My friend does this to me because she knows I’ll look back at the pictures and not like them,” one person said, defending the man’s paunch policing.
“No…even if I asked him his response should be WHY? YOURE BEAUTIFUL!” chided another. “Why would you let anyone encourage anything like that?”
“I would not accept this,” stated someone else.
“Red flag,” another simply put.
“Me personally I wouldn’t let that slide,” argued another user.
But Saira stood up for her husband in the comments, saying he knows she would’ve hated the photo if she hadn’t sucked in.

“I told him to remind me if I forget to tuck my tummy in myself,” Saira continued. “I’m literally more than fine with it. I more than appreciate everyone coming to my defense though.”
