A woman has gone viral on TikTok after sharing a shocking revelation: She had seen her husband 15 years ago.
Ailiz Melina Zambrano Pinargote, 26, from Ecuador, was visiting with her mother-in-law when they began flipping through photo albums.
While looking through the photographs, Pinargote spotted herself in the background of one of the pictures.
“I don’t remember anything about the photo, because I was a girl and I didn’t know him, I hadn’t seen him. I just remember that every year we went to the city parades with my mom,” Pinargote told NeedToKnow.online.
In the photo, Pinargote is standing in the background and staring at someone who she thought was a random boy.
It turned out to be her future husband, Pedro Pablo Pico Moreira, 29.
“We were totally surprised, we couldn’t believe it. It gave us fear, happiness, many emotions because it is incredible that the photographer in the middle of the parade stopped him right at that moment where I appear looking at him,” she said.
The surprised wife shared her amazing story in a TikTok video and quickly went viral with more than 9 million views and 540,000 likes from people loving the coincidence.
“I didn’t think that our story would have so much admiration and reception by TikTok users and it would go viral in a few days. We received many likes, congratulatory comments, among others,” Pinargote shared.

Although the couple had run into each other when they were young, the two did not remember meeting until Pinargote was 17 years old. She had seen Moreira around town and had developed a crush on the cute boy but was too nervous to speak to him until one special day.
“I was about to enter my classroom when it turned out that Pedro was sat on a bench outside the classroom,” she shared.

At that moment, I smiled, and I was very embarrassed because I’m not flirty and that was the first time something like this had happened.”
“I carried on and entered my classroom . . . (he says that with that smile it confirmed that I liked him), and after three days, he wrote to me on Facebook.”
After their initial meeting, the lovebirds spent two weeks getting to know each other before Moreira, who is now a teacher at a local institution, asked Pinargote to marry him.
Pinargote and Moreira spent nearly six years dating before they officially decided to tie the knot in a civil marriage ceremony nearly two years ago, but the couple can now say they’ve known each other since they were children.
