May the force (and the ring) be with you.

A 25-year-old Brit proposed to his girlfriend, Lizzy, by acting out scenes from the couple’s favorite films, including “Star Wars” and “The Lord of the Rings.”

Ian Coulson, a filmmaker, incorporated “Star Wars” since the couple’s first official date was watching a marathon at his apartment — and they’re both major “Lord of the Rings” fans.

Lizzy, a 24-year-old Canadian musician, said yes.

Coulson took four months to plan out the scenes, even enlisting his future father-in-law to play Darth Vader.

“It was really important to me that I be able to give her a moment of feeling like the most important person in the world,” Coulson told the Huffington Post UK. “But also to do something that was ‘us.’”
