Oh, Europe. First Eurovision, now this?

A video posted this week from the Netherlands depicting a store’s alleged 10,000th shoplifter being caught has racked up over 300,000 views. What punishment — fine, arrest, public berating — does the thief get?

Champagne all around!

The blurry-faced criminal stands for a moment, frozen, as the store’s employees, like characters out of “Borat,” shower her with party hats, cake and enthusiasm to boot.

Then . . . she bolts.

What a shame. The robber came to the store looking to pocket some free swag, and the moment it arrives, she runs.

As the saying goes, the grass is always greener . . .
