A 90-year-old Welsh tortoise is really rolling with the punches after her gnawed off front legs were replaced by a custom pair of wheels.

Mrs.T the tortoise was hibernating for the winter in a garden shed when a dastardly rat sneaked in and chewed through the tortoise’s front legs, according to the BBC.

Miraculously, Mrs. T survived the brutal attack but she was left immobile.

Unwilling to give up on her pet, Mrs. T’s owner, Jude Ryder, turned to her mechanical engineer son, Dale, who attached two toy airplane wheels to Mrs. T’s leg stumps.

“She took to her new wheels straight away but she has had to learn how to turn and stop,” Jude Ryder said. “She can get a good speed up, much faster than before.”
