Jet off to see Dubai’s many exotic Starbucks locations/image via jonrawlinson

This just in — all-biz flyer Silverjet (Newark to London-Luton) is gearing up to go long, as in Newark to Luton to Dubai. Why it’s news: This is the first of the US-Europe all-business class startups to expand service beyond those regions.

Service starts Nov. 18, fares from New York in late November are running $1,998 each way, about $4,500 RT with tax. That’s a couple hundred bucks cheaper than flying BusinessElite on Delta (via Atlanta), and about double the lowest Emirates economy fare found for those dates.

Then again, on Silverjet, you’ll have to cool your heels at Luton for about 12 hours to make the outbound connection. (Hey – at least you won’t miss it.)
