A Rutgers University student lost her stylish $7,000 wardrobe because Air Europa misplaced her luggage — and when she finally got a bag back, there was little more than a boot and bikini top inside, she told The Post Friday.

“I’m so upset,” said Aly Abrams, a 21-year-old junior. “It’s been frustrating and exhausting.”

In January, Abrams packed nearly all of her clothes — including $300 knee-high Aldo boots and Bloomingdale’s duds — for a five-month study abroad program in Spain and boarded a flight to Valencia via Madrid at JFK Airport, she said.

But a snowstorm struck on Jan. 4, busting a water main at the airport — and sparking chaos that left her stranded abroad with nothing to wear, she said.

When she finally got one of her bags back on Jan. 15, it had been ripped open, looted and taped back together. Inside was a lone boot, one half of a bathing suit and a pair of jeans.

“I cried,” said Abrams, who hails from Short Hills, NJ. “It was ripped, destroyed, covered in tape and a plastic wrapping. Almost all of my clothes were packed in this suitcase.”

She added, “At that moment, all I wanted to do was to come home.”

After months of red tape — including forking over $60 to make a claim about the missing luggage, and filing a police report — the airline offered her just $180.32 for her trouble, according to an email obtained by The Post.

“I thought it was a joke,” Abrams fumed.

The college student is one of hundreds of New York City travelers who lost luggage, at least temporarily, during the Jan. 4 blizzard.

Her bag, which was also carrying Free People and Urban Outfitters clothes, ended up in Amsterdam, Ibiza and Madrid before arriving in Valencia, she said.

Abrams now wants the airline to make her a better offer.

“I just want them right their wrong,” she said, adding she reported a total of $7,000 in missing clothing. “I want the money that I asked for.”

The airline did not immediately return a request for comment Friday.
