Here’s something you don’t see every day: Fire sales at the two coastal Ritz-Carlton resorts in California. Yep — the beautifully renovated, clifftop Laguna Niguel in Orange County and the golf-y Half Moon Bay near San Francisco are both selling rooms from $199 a night for summer stays (Memorial Day to Labor Day).
The catch: You’ve got to book within a 72-hour window that starts Monday, and they’re only releasing the details Monday morning. We’ll be back with those shortly, meanwhile, see if you can’t make some room on your calendar, particularly for Laguna Niguel (that’s the view, up top there).
