Due to space issues with Susannah Cahalan’s Provincetown story in today’s paper, we weren’t able to fit this sidebar on how to get there. Here you go.

Driving is the best and easiest way to get to Provincetown — or else you’re in for a long and unpleasant ride.

A far better idea: Go to Boston and take the ferry. The cost-conscious, however, may want to avoid Amtrak (about $120 and up with advance purchase; amtrak.com) and instead take the the Fung Wah bus ($15/RT) from Chinatown.

From there, board Boston Harbor Cruises for the 90-minute ride. The service runs through Oct. 7 ($70/RT for adults, $60 for children 4-12).
