It’s Friday (the 13th, scary scary), the weather is cooling off – time for a little armchair (or desk chair, as the case may be) travel. And if you think somewhere chic and nifty is out of your price range, you haven’t been using the Tablet Hotels site lately.
Tablet is great – it is a booking engine, but it also curates the properties that it sells, and prefers that their hotels have a personality. It is also not afraid to let users rate their stay. Best of all, when guest ratings drop below 15 out of 20, the hotel is removed from the site.
(So much better than, say, Hotels.com, which is content to pour money in to patently false commercials that do their best to convince you that they actually care about the quality of the properties they sell. As if!)
Ten groovy, Tablet-approved hotels under $100, after the jump.
Note: The descriptions are theirs, not mine. Also, prices are listed at their lowest – some do climb higher at times.
