The long-awaited box set of Twin Peaks came out not too long ago. Twin Peaks. Remember? It’s only David Lynch’s remarkable, groundbreaking ABC drama that marked the beginning of the 1990’s. In other words, that show that makes thirtysomethings feel old because nobody younger seems to remember it.
If that sounds like you, you’re probably up for wasting at least half an hour on this well-done site that documents the locations in a way we’ve not seen before – matching pictures of the actual filming sites with stills from the series. Check it out. Reminds us of the time we spent about an hour one foggy summer day trying to get that perfect shot on Reinig Road in North Bend, Washington.
If you are an extreme Twin Peaks nerd, you know what we’re talking about — heading east on Reinig brings you to the the fictional “entrance” to town. The rest of you will probably want to move along. Things are about to get all kinds of dorky.
